Nefeleonas Co-op is a social cooperative based in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. They develop a variety of social economy projects in both Heraklion and Athens. Some of their areas of focus include:
- Intercultural education and European mobility: They offer programs for young people to participate in volunteer projects and other intercultural experiences abroad.
- Educational programmes and counseling services for gifted kids, adolescents and adults as well as to their families.
- Workshops for children and adolescents: They provide workshops on a variety of topics, such as arts and crafts, creative expression, and personal development.
- After-school care and tutoring: They offer after-school care and tutoring services for children who need extra help with their schoolwork.
- Personal assistant and escort services for people with disabilities: They provide personal assistant and escort services to help people with disabilities live independently.
- Psychotherapy and counseling: They offer psychotherapy and counseling services for individuals and families.
- Book-related activities: They organize book clubs, author events, and other activities related to books and reading.
- Support and hosting of events/venue rental: They offer space for rent for events and can also provide support with event planning and logistics.
