Androidus, a community-based in Anogia village near Mount Psiloritis, is on a mission to celebrate the essence of Crete’s cultural heartbeat. They combine science and culture to create digital experiences that bring Crete’s rich heritage to the fingertips of a global audience.
Through teamwork and a hands-on approach, Androidus collaborates with scientific institutions, Greek universities, and locals to achieve their goals. Their journey began in 2017, inspired by the success of TEDxAnogia_Light Your Way Up in 2015. Since then, they’ve been actively involved in researching, organizing events, and capturing the magic of Cretan culture.
More than just a company, Androidus is a community of Cretan locals passionate about shaking things up and promoting a modern cultural democracy. Their ultimate goal is to blend local traditions with a global perspective. By spicing up the creative economy, they aim to uplift the mountainous communities they call home.
