Epilinia 2024: A Wine Tasting Celebration Under the Moonlight

The Cultural Association of Vathypetro invites you to the second annual “Epilinia” event, a unique celebration of Cretan winemaking tradition. Taking place on Monday, August 19th, at 7:30 PM in the village of Vathypetro.
“Epilinia” offers a journey through the diverse world of Cretan wines. Participants will have the opportunity to savor a selection of fine wines from eleven local wineries, representing various grape varieties and winemaking styles.
Oenologist Stella Vasilaki will present a captivating talk on “The Cretan Vineyard in Real Time,” shedding light on the history, current state, and future prospects of winemaking in Crete.
As the night goes on, Celia Karagianni and Eleni Tornesaki will play beautiful music, making the evening even more special under the August full moon.
