The captivating journey of the 1st “Cycle of Culture” Festival continues, casting its light on the historical and spiritual treasures of Tsoutsouras on Thursday, August 29th, 2024.

Explore Sacred and Ancient Sites

Embark on a guided tour of the Early Christian basilica nestled by the Mitris River, led by archaeologist Maria Mari. As dusk settles, gather at the Tsoutsouras port for a thought-provoking lecture by Dr. Athanasia Kanda, Honorary Director of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities of the Heraklion Regional Unit, titled “Eileithyia Cave: The Sacred, the Human, and the Personal.”

Music Under the Cretan Sky
