10th Smari Cultural Festival: A Celebration of Tradition and Heritage

The Smari Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Region of Crete and the Municipality of Minoa Pediada, proudly presents the 10th Smari Cultural Festival. This vibrant celebration of Smari’s rich heritage and traditions will take place from Friday, August 9th to Sunday, August 18th, 2024.
Exhibitions
Throughout the festival, two captivating exhibitions will be open to the public:
- “Smarian Trade: A Pioneering Journey of Survival” at the Cultural Center
- “The Dietary Habits of Smarians” at the Smari Folklore House
These exhibitions offer a unique glimpse into the history and culture of Smari, showcasing the resourcefulness and resilience of its people. The exhibitions will be open daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and admission is free.
